Oh, my sweet little Roo is already one third of a year old! I know I say this every month, but she is an absolute dream baby. She's happy happy happy and she rarely cries. She likes her sleep and she loves to snuggle. I love the stage she's at now. Laughing and chewing on her toes? Forget about it, I melt. We were given the go ahead for starting solids but I haven't started quite yet, because... {insert sobbing emoji}

| Those peonies are from our yard! They smell as beautiful as they look, too. |
Dylans Milestones, Month 4:
Big laughs, especially when I kiss her cheeks and say, "I'mmmmmmm gonna kiss you!" // Ticklish // Grabs her feet // Chews on her feet // Sucks her fingers and sometimes her thumb // Loves her toys and passes them from hand to hand // First trip to Rhode Island. We were supposed to take her to the beach for the first time, but because Ollie got sick we didn't make it. //
At her 4 Month visit, she weighed in at 11 pounds 12 ounces (7th percentile), gaining a full pound since the last weight-check a month ago! She never did take a bottle (even when we shook a cereal box at her, ha!) so we aim for about 12 feedings a day. Which is a lot. She's a pretty quick eater, though! She measured in at 24.25 inches long (38%)
This round of immunizations was rough on her. I'm not sure if she felt crummy, but her leg sure did look tender from the two shots. She was very unlike herself for a couple of days, just really quiet and a bit sad. It broke my heart to see her like that:
| A little ride in the wagon to take her mind off the leg pain :( |
| Lots of extra snuggles. |
| And naps on mama. |
| She was back to herself soon enough, though! |
| And this is the Dylan I'm used to- my sweet, silly, happy girl. |
| A celebratory wagon ride for my 4 month old. |
