This year's Thanksgiving was the best yet. We had nineteen friends & family members, there was a beautiful light snow falling, lots of food, and wonderful fun. The six kids ran had a blast running around the house in a (high-volume) glee the whole time- as kids are supposed to do at holiday gatherings! And while I can really only speak for myself, it seemed like the big people had some fun too. It's so nice to have such wonderful friends and family to share a holiday with (who are also willing to bring food & help with clean up!)
I know you've been holding your breath waiting for the Turducken verdict: It was all we had hoped it would be and more! In fact, we decided that next year we're getting TWO and scrapping the regular turkey! (Thank you again Steph & Tom for making our Royal Roast dreams come true!)
Here are a few photos from our morning of prep and evening with friends:

And now that Thanksgiving is over I can officially put Elf on repeat.
Who am I kidding? We don't wait for Christmas to watch Elf- it's a year round flick around here! (But at least the spirit is there now!) I'm sorry I ruined your lives and crammed 11 cookies into the VCR.
Hoping your Thanksgiving was just as wonderful as ours! Happy Holidays!
