I don't know about you but I am loving these sunny days and warmer temperatures! At night when we're snuggling in bed, Pey has taken to listing all of the things she's going to do once the snow melts: "I'm gonna ride my biiiike, I'm gonna ride my scooooooter, I'm gonna play bubblllllles... and we're gonna get baby chicks!" She's getting me excited with all of her planning! (A girl after my own heart!) And Ollie is super anxious to set up his "soccer gold"!
Of course, the daily thawing and re-freezing has created a skating rink out of our driveway (which Peyton thinks is the greatest, by the way!) so we're kind of still stuck indoors until that gets a bit safer. Thankfully, we've found some great projects to keep us entertained. I love projects because we have the
best one-on-one time doing them, and the kids are so
so proud of their finished products!
February, Week 8/52:
Creations
 |
| Oliver: This week, Jon and Ollie had a "Guys Day" where they went to the Build and Grow workshop at Lowes and then out to lunch. At the workshop, Ollie got to build his own Max-D monster truck! The pride he took in showing me what he made was beyond adorable! |
 |
| Peyton: Ollie's van driver is the sweetest and bought both Ollie and Peyton gifts after Dylan was born. For Peyton, she got a Make-Your-Own Sock Puppet Kit, which Pey was all. over. She had so much fun deciding what to add to them, and she has had a ton of fun playing with the finished products, too! |

| Dylan: This little girl has had more and more awake time this week. She loves a good cuddle, especially right up against a nice warm chest. She has been sleeping 2-4 hour chunks in her co-sleeper at night (amazing!) but during the day her preference is to be held, as opposed to being in her Mamaroo or blanket... but she's so darn cute there's no way I can mind! Her little legs are already filling out and she's starting to look more like a baby (and less like an alien newborn) My current obsession is when she misses a sneeze- she scrunches up her face like she's going to sneeze and then yells out instead. I die! |
