dylan {{one month old}}

I can't believe that our sweet Dylan is already ONE MONTH OLD! It has gone by so fast! She truly is the easiest baby and she has made our family's transition from two to three kids easier than I ever imagined it would be. I'm knocking wood & I know that can change, but so far everything has gone smoothly, thanks in large part to her sweet, peaceful, and easy-going disposition. Even her birth was convenient: I was terrified that I would go into labor while the kids were in school and have to scramble with pick-up, etc... but I went into labor on a Friday night after the kids had gone to bed and was home from the hospital in time to get them to school the following week! 

So far, I can report that Dylan enjoys: 1| sleeping (especially on a warm body); 2| sticking out her tongue; 3| making adorable grunting noises; 4| a nice warm tub; 5| and pooping in a nice fresh diaper. Oh, and having her picture taken. (That may or may not be true, but I can't stop won't stop, so she should probably learn to love it.)

She's really easy-going, but there are a few things she does not enjoy: 1| being separated from a nice warm body; 2| being taken out of a nice warm tub; or 3| a dirty diaper.

At her 1-Month Checkup, Dylan weighed-in at 8 pounds 9 oz (26% and up 1 pound 1 oz from birth) and measured 21 1/4 inches (52%) She had one shot and it broke my heart.... but she did recover rather quickly!
